I am back my dear friends ... sorry if I was late !! Forgive me .. but you may know what were going on in my country Egypt...

I am back with a new blog about love & forgiveness....

I have read some qoutes on the strong relationship between love and forgiveness..

let me show you these quotes which attracted me greatly

"The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong."

Gandhi

" The more I can love the world,
The sooner I shall be able
To forgive the world."

- Sri Chinmoy

" If we really want to love
we must learn how to forgive "

- Mother Teresa

"We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive.
He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love."

Martin Luther King, Jr.

" What power has love but forgiveness? "

- William Carlos Williams.

" As forgiveness can illumine
A human life,
Even so love can enlarge
A human mind."

Sri Chinmoy

"Father, forgive them;
for they know not what they do. "

Luke 23

Now let me ask you my friends , to what extend can we forgive the people we love?

what are the things that we can forgive and those we can't ?

when can't you forgive the one you love?Is there a red line if the one we love

oversteps or surpasses we can't forgive him or her ?

Does the nature between the two persons control the ability to forgive ? ( for example : a father or a mother and her kids  , a girl and her boyfriend , a woman and her husband ...etc.)

I will be happy if i know your  point of view on that topic....

I am waiting for your comments....

with my love

your friend,

And I absolutelly agree with Teresa's quote. I consider her as one of the greatest persons the world has ever had. The degree of love (as love can differ) determins the ability to forgive. As to me I am not able to forgive some things...but these must be very important and painful ones....in general I think it's a waste of time to feel offended and spend much time of thinking "forgive or not forgive". life is so short that after I will regret of that time...

So nice to see you here again! And so nice to read and discuss such an interesting blog of yours...missed you much!

For the start I'd like to share these wise words and then we continue, promise:

Love is not how you forget but how you forgive, not how you listen but how you understand, not what you see but how you feel, and not how you let go but how you hold on
