MULLAH NASREDDIN and THE BEGGAR

Mullah Nasreddin  lives in house in the city. Mullah is up on the roof of his house. He is walking on the roof. A Beggar sees Mullah on the roof,(a beggar is a poor man).

He goes to the door of the home .he knocks at door. Mullah looks down.

Beggar: Mullah. Mullah.

Mullah: what do you want, beggar?

Beggar: please come down, mullah. I want to talk to you.

Mullah goes down to the door.

Beggar: mullah, please give me two rials.

Mullah say nothing. He goes back to the roof, Beggar. I want to talk to you.

The beggar goes up to roof. He stands near Mullah.

Mullah: beggar, I don’t have Two rials.
