“Domradio” says that since president Juan Orlando’s win in allegedly manipulated elections 12 people have died in violent conflicts between pro-Orlando-groups and people opposing him.

Thus helping them also helps the environment.

“Domradio” says that in Latin America industrialized agriculture becomes more and more of a problem. Meanwhile only a few international enterprises that settled down there years ago control the entire production and the prices, while native farmers can’t earn their living as they aren’t independent anymore.

They already kept young boys and forced them to take part in their crimes and they kept young girls either as their sex-slaves or to sell them as forced prostitutes.
>Los Zetas is a well-armed drug-gang in Mexico that already participated in drug wars and killed thousands of people. There even are cases of people who got tortured for simply criticizing them and other cases in which people were held hostage and got forced to join this gang. Some eyewitness-accounts also say that Los Zetas sometimes kidnaps young men and makes them fight against each other to death. The survivor gets forced to join the gang.

According to the news show “Heute” on the radio station “RTL” Honduras is the most dangerous of those countries that are not affected by war, civil war or terrorism. An unusually high number of murders per year happens there and just like its neighbor Mexico this country struggles with drug-related issues. Also a lot of people get wounded in regular shootings. In such a hostile environment it is not a surprise that also illegal logging and poaching are practiced.
