2questions

<!-==text==begin==-> Hi Doc,I’ve got 2questions:

1) What’s the difference between “gohalves” and “go Dutch”? Why did you use “halvsies”instead of “halves”?

2) If you want to express”even though we won the victory, we paid a highprice…”, which term will you use? “stakes aretoo high” or “twoo much stakes”? Are both of themacceptable?

Cheers,

Kenith

<!-==text==begin==-> Hi Doc,thanks for yourreply.

1) How do you spell “halvsies”? Did itcome from “halvsy”?

2) Concerning “stakes”: Ithink I took a bad example, since “victory” isabstract. I meant the loss compared with what wegained. Should I use “too much”, “too many” or”too high” stakes?

Thanks,

Kenith
