Great question! 



With the expression “have it in for someone” (meaning, wanting retaliation or wanting bad things to happen to someone), we use the verb “have” in the same way we normally would.



Therefore, these are all correct:



  • I have it in for that guy.

  • You have it in for that guy.

  • He/She/It has it in for that guy.

  • We have it in for that guy.

  • You have it in for that guy.

  • They have it in for that guy.
