Kyle: Stephanie, that lightning storm yesterday was crazy.
Steph: That was really cool. All that thunder and stuff going on.
Kyle: Yeah. But it actually knocked out the power in the whole block, or a couple block area.
Steph: Are you serious?
Kyle: Yeah. Some of my friends gotta go home early from work because they had no lights, no power for the computer, nothing.
Steph: Nice. Nature’s wrath. I love that.
Kyle: Yeah. Not only that, it was a cool show as well.
Steph: Totally. Yeah. I was watching it for sure from my house.
Kyle: Yeah.

Wow! It is so amazing that something like a storm can disrupt everything. It can force people to go home from work early and everything.
I used to be afraid of lightning when I was a kid. My mom always told me to come straight home if lightning started. Getting struck by lightning doesn’t sound like a lot of fun to me.
Do you know what happens when you get struck by lightning? Have you ever heard of anyone who has been struck by lightning?
