Amy

Amy:  Oh, I’m beat.

George:  I’m beat too. It was a rough night last night.

Amy:  Harper was really fussy.

George:  How’d you ever get him to go to sleep?

Amy:  It took a long time. We played on the computer with Elmo and Ernie, and then we rocked in the rocking chair, and then we took a bath and finally I nursed him and he fell asleep.

George:  Hi, Harper…

Amy:  Hi, honey…

George:  Hi there…

Amy:  Oh, he’s happy now.

George:  He’s so cute…

Amy:  I’d love some coffee. If you get a chance, would you make some?

George:  Yeah.

Amy:  I take cream and sugar with mine.

George:  Word, I’ll be right back.

Amy:  Thanks, hon. I’m going to change his diaper. It looks like he just pooed a good one.

George:  Oh, man!

Amy:  Oh no! It’s getting all over you!

George:  Oh no!

Discussion

For those of you with kids, I’m sure you can relate to George and Amy and the late nights they spend with Harper. There’s a lot of work involved with babies, but it’s all worth it. This is a good conversation between a married couple. They are speaking very casually with each other, and can talk frankly about anything. Stay tuned for more in the future with George, Amy and Harper. Until next time,—Doc
