College basketball is one of my favorite sports. In March, the nation’s best teams battle in the national tournament. Sixty-four teams enter, and in three weeks, only one team remains – the champion.
Even if you don’t like sports that much, the NCAA tournament is very exciting. Listen to Chad and I talk about it here.

John: I love March Madness, don’t you?
Chad: Yeah, it’s a great time to watch T.V. You can sit down and have your snacks and watch non-stop basketball.
John: Yeah, I mean, there’s something like sixty-four games, right?
Chad: No, I think it’s sixty-four teams, so that would be thirty-two games, but there’s one that starts every fifteen minutes. Who are your picks this year?
John: You know, even though I’m a Duck at heart, I’m going with Oklahoma to win the whole thing. Who’s your choice?
Chad: I’m kind of a copy cat. I’m picking Duke. They’ve got the best players. But who knows, they can always get upset.
John: Way to jump on the bandwagon.
Chad: Yeah, the coolest thing is when a Cinderella team, or somebody who’s not supposed to win, overtakes a big, big name.
John: And that happens all the time. That’s the magic of the tournament.

What do you think? Does the tournament sound exciting? I hope so. The best thing about college basketball is, you never know who’s going to win. Even teams from small schools have a chance.
I went to the University of Oregon so I’m a Duck fan. This year the Ducks are in the tournament and have a good chance of winning. GO DUCKS!
