Go Super to Listen Go Super!

Many of us worry about losing our jobs. But it’s surprising to hear about a movie star having similar fears. Jessica Chastain has been in many Hollywood movies. She appeared in The Help and even got to work with Brad Pitt in the film Tree of Life. But her excellent resume doesn’t stop her from worrying about getting fired. Even celebrities have insecurities about their jobs.

The expression get fired has been around for a long time. Some say that it was first used in tribal societies. When a tribe wanted to make someone leave but didn’t want to kill them, they would burn their house down, or “fire” them. Today, getting fired is still bad, but at least you just lose your job, not your whole house!

There are a few different ways to say that someone lost their job. The politest way is to say that they were let go. Get fired is a bit stronger and more negative. If someone gets fired, it might mean that they made a mistake at work or did a poor job.

Do you ever worry about getting fired from your job? What are some reasons a person should get fired?

Well, job  is a very important issue. It’s your status, it’s your money, it’s a good living. Well, not that everything that is money leads to good living but, it’s one of the criteria to happiness! So, even though, people’re protected by unemployment insurance in case they’re laid off, nobody wants to go through this stress. That’s why people, first, make a career, get that validation that they’re needed at work ( they can hack it on their own and nobody else can replace them!)  and then are getting married, take a leave of absence and all those pros and cons. Yeah, they can wait on many things if the job is at stake.
