“Death is a fascination, so you’re never going to go away from it. The idea that you don’t die, ya know, people have been talking forever about trying to live your life as though you’re already dead because it’s freeing. Frees the soul. We’re going to keep going back to it forever.”

—Timothy Olyphant, actor, speaking about the Netflix hit series, Santa Clarita Diet

Go Super to Listen Go Super!

It’s very important to move forward in life. As time passes, we can never get it back. We can try to change our clocks and convince ourselves that we didn’t just spend hours watching television or being lazy. But we’d still have to move forward and live a lie. Time makes the choice for us: we have to look to the future and deal with the choices we made in the past.

Yet we still sometimes wish we could go back. And sometimes, the past is worth thinking about because it might repeat itself in the future. Timothy Olyphant talks about his show, the Santa Clarita Diet, and mentions themes that people often go back to, like death. Death is so fascinating to us, that we will always explore it as a topic, especially in entertainment. It is a theme we will always go back to and explore.

Is there something you keep going back to? What things from your past still irritate you now?
