People always want best in their life...

what you guys think about this statement above?? 'everyone wants the best in their life'.. i think, if someone is thinks like this, then he or she is a selfish one; do you guys agree with me.. why am i saying this?? because you dont want to loose anything in life; that shows - you 'want' and 'want' and want for yourself... so it is not about giving; it simply means you are being selfish because you are not willing to give away 'things' in life... maybe the level of selfishness differs from one ot another; maybe one is too selfish than the other; but everyone is selfish from this point based on the explanation above.. is it not?? so, this selfishness sometimes leads even to a stage where you only choose the frens that makes you benefit.. am i right or not?? why is that sometimes you always want to talk to a particular person than others (because you are happy, he is so cute&funny and she is so pretty&gorgeous); so your are happy being with them. and why is that you always run away whenever you see a person trying to reach you? because you dont like spending time or having a chat with that particular person... so you are being selfish here in both cases... this might be different from the topic written above; but what i am trying to say is that; i wanna question you guys out there, isn’t its true that people who wants the best are always selfish??
