I was thinking that spanish grammar is a bit hard to learn starting from english, because you've difference in gender, in amounts of people, etc (for example: it's "la luna" and "el sol", but in english it's just "the moon" and "the sun", so you have to learn all of that).. And also "you" could mean "ustedes" (like in "you all are learning spanish") or "" (like in "you are the only one for me")

So I decided to start from scratch, and in this case, scratch is.. VOCABULARY!

First of all, the COLOURS... I did this table for you Laughing:

Colores

Then, the PARTS OF YOUR BODY!! Remember that in all of them, when you say them in plural, you just add an "S". the ones with a * before are are femenine nouns, and the ones with an º before are masculine. So you call a femenine noun by "la", and a masculine one "el". Example: "La boca de Andrea es muy bella" would be "Andrea's mouth is very beautiful" (you don't see in english if the noun is femenine* or masculineº).

*Face = Cara

ºEye(s) =  Ojo(s)

*Mouth = Boca

*Tounge = Lengua

ºTooth/Teeth = Diente/Dientes

*Nose = Nariz

*Cheek(s) = Mejilla(s)

*Ear(s) = Oreja(s)

ºHair = Pelo (or "vello" when it's about the hair in any part of your body except for your head)

*Chin = Pera / Barbilla

*Beard = Barba

ºNeck = Cuello

ºShoulder(s) = Hombro(s)

ºArm(s) = Brazo(s)

ºElbow = Codo

*Wrists = Muñecas (yeah, just like "dolls".)

*Hands = Manos

ºBreast(s) = Seno(s) (JUST FOR WOMEN!) informal: Pechugas, Tetas. (at least here in Chile lol, but don't try to say it!!)

ºChest = Pecho (you can also call breasts "pechos")

ºTorso = Tronco (or torso too, but at least here it's not very common)

*Waist = Cintura

*Hips = Caderas

*Legs = Piernas

*Knees = Rodillas

*Calf = Pantorilla

ºFoot/Feet = Pie/Pies

ºFinger(s) = Dedo(s) (In spanish you don't have a special name for the fingers in your feet, so you use "dedo del pie", which is equivalent to "finger of the foot")

I'd write more but I have to study for the university entrance exams on monday and tuesday... Wish me luck! hahaha..

And... Tell me what you want to learn next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

¡¡¡¡¡¡ Cuídense y nos vemos!!!!!! (Take care and see ya!!!!!!)

Para entender y hablar español no es mi responsabilidad.

esfuerza hablar ingles por favor.

It is not part of my job to speak spanish. You must make the effort to explain yourself in English.
