Japan

April 9, 2014

last month, I went to Iga Ueno castle. it was very wonderful experience.
this castle was built about 500 years ago and it's said which has highest stone wall in Japan.(about 30 meters)
that castle was rebuilt at 1935, but the stone wall has left its appearance of the old time.

if you want to go to there, you can use JR and other train.
from Nagoya, it takes for 3 hours and you have to change your train at Kameyama and Igaueno like this,

Nagoya → Kameyama 1hour and half by JR
Kameyama : waiting for next train  about  half an hour
Kameyama → Igaueno about 50 minutes by JR
Igaueno → Ueno-shi about 7 minutes by Igatetsudo

then, it takes 10 minutes from that station to the castle by your foot!

Igaueno castle:
open 9:00-17:00
entrance fee 700 Japanese yen for adult
they don't have holiday.
