Why do you think this rushing blood in my veins
is only a means to warm me up when it rains?
I've always been acquiescent to your whims
She's so tender while she swims

Some nights you were so quirky
You wouldn't let me kiss you
with your hair untied
But she's on her way to my flat tonight

There was a time when you said
dandruff is just snowflakes that won't end
you were lovely with that sunflower in your hand
Goodness took off from your launching pad

Thoughts are unstable
When you think you're doing wrong
You might've been thinking for too long
Now heaven is just one corner away from my home
And you only a scrawl on my note
