A Trip by Self-Service or With a Tour GroupNowadays, the tourism has seen its booming development, an increasingly number of visitors pour into every tourist city each year. Many famous and splendid tourist attractions are attractive to visitors, they are dreaming of going to the destination they have planned for many days. A trip with a tour group and a trip by self-service are mainly two ways to tour a tourist attraction. Some people prefer to a trip with a tour group. There are many merits can be easily seen, some visitors are from remote places, the destination are far away, so maybe it is safer to tour with a tour group. Generally speaking, the tourist agency you reserved will help you arrange the necessary things for you, for instance, the hotel, the tourist bus, the restaurant or the food, etc. So if you don’t have any friends or relatives in the tourist city, your security can be guaranteed and the tourist agency will take the responsibility for you. And with a tour group, there are many visitors are all from different corners of China, so you probably can make new friends in the tour group and we can share our experiences. So following with a tour group will be a better choice. While in recent years, media have exposed that many tourist agencies and tour groups cheat visitors out of money, some visitor say that when they are visiting some views, some guides drag their visitors to some shops and force them to buy souvenirs or any other unnecessary things, which are quite expensive. This is a controversial issue in society which discourages some visitors to choose this type of tour. Some people prefer to have a trip by self-service. This kind of people is more a sensational seeker, they like adventures, and they are brave. Going to some places for visiting by themselves is a fabulous, since they are free like a bird, they can go wherever they like and do whatever they want. They have their own schedule and direction or they don’t have any certain plan, they just want to wander around to see the beautiful sceneries which caught in the sight. They need to follow the routine; they have their own style to tour. They don’t need others to help them to arrange everything for them; they want to do all self-service, only by doing this seems that they can experience more than other visitors. The self-service visitors can learn a lot in that they will encounter a great deal of problems during the journey, they will resolve problems on their own and know how to survive the wild nature, due to this kind of experience, it helps them to understand their life better after the tour, it is beneficial. As for me, if the condition allowing, I will choose both the two ways to tour, I will have a trip with a tour group firstly, since I don’t have any experience to travel, and it will be more safer for me to visit places, and I will learn from it ,and I gain much more experience, after that I can choose to have a trip by self-service, accompanying with my friends, we can go wherever we like freely. We can enjoy our journey so much, and this is I am dreaming about. Anyway I hope every visitor has a wonderful and unforgettable tour. Good luck to you all!
