China
March 21, 2010
In July 2010, there will be more than 6 million students graduating from colleges/universities. I am a member of this big group. We are faced with the pressure of finding jobs. I hear many of us say it is difficult to find a job.
Last two weeks I sent resume to some companies and participated in job fairs. And I got interview opportunities and found a job finally. Actually most employers would like to offer graduates work opportunities. However, most of us don’t even want to have a try. The reasons are, I would like to say, the excuses are, “I’m not suitable for the job” “the wage is too low” “the working environment is not good” etc. we are a group of people short of work experience, why are we dissatisfied so much?
I was thinking about the job things. Do people take job for personal interest or for living? Maybe we have found a job which is right down our alley. But I think most of us work for living, earn money and then do things we like to do.
Frankly speaking, I was afraid of having a job at first. I don’t know how the work life is like. Of course, like others, I want a job with good salary in a company where I like to work. But I couldn’t find a satisfied one. I was blind. Even looking at the recruitment information in the internet (which I couldn’t resist to do) made me anxious and worried. I don’t know what to do and how to do. But after several days thinking, I figured out what I really want and what job is to me.
Try to seize on every opportunity and keep positive mental attitude, we will find things satisfied ourselves. An old Chinese saying goes: in any profession there is some one who excels all the rest. We all can be the “some one”.
