Predestination

Recently I think a lot about the predestination. If I am going to move to Canada, I have so to speak a second chance. I can start all over again. I can choose the profession of my dream. But there is a problem. I don’t know who I really am.

Now I work as accountant. I am good at it except it is boring to read changes in tax paying and other accounting news. Also it is well-paid job. But is it the predestination – to be an accountant?..

I’m interested in creative work. But there is one big BUT, I don’t have any education in this sphere. I don’t know if I am talented. I don’t know if I am able to create something worth of attention and, of course, of money.

One of my friend’s mom said, that it was ok to be lost know. It is ok in my age not to know why I am here, what my mission is. She found herself at the age of 40! (Good Lord, I have my time to think!!) But… I want to know it now. Not to waste my time in vain, but to work hard and to love my work.

What am I to do?... I looked through some art colleges in Toronto and found the profession of Independent Illustrator. I do have a dream to be a great artist. But my skills are not so bright. And I am lazy… I guess. So should I try to be illustrator? Or it would be better for me to study accounting and earn money? How to decide what is better for you?..

April fool's day

Today is really special day.

My sweet kitty congratulated my husband by eating his breakfast :D It is hilarious!!!

Then today is the first day of rain in Khabarovsk after long and cold winter. It is good news because rain will wash off all the dirt from the streets. It is a relief. Also rain smells great. Like wet asphalt :))

Due to the weather everybody is sleepy and lazy. By the way it is Friday, the last day to work before weekend. It is certainly wonderful day today.

I wish you all to have great weekends and a lot of jokes today :)

New job

New job

I’ve change my job finally.

Yes, I had fascinating schedule. But when you don’t get your salary in time for several months you don’t give a shit about schedule. In fact you can do nothing but think about all the necessary payments you have to do. I want to have a life, to be able to afford going in different places – cinemas, cafes, to buy bicycle after all.

So, I’m an accountant again. I work with my friend. And I wait for my first salary ;) Also I want to sleep a lot. But it is normal for working people.

Runaways, Red Hot Chili Peppers , etc.

Runaways is quite interesting movie about girls-band "Runaways'. This movie is for those who love rock'n'roll or Kirsten Stewart. So... for me :)

I like movies based on real stories. And I liked soundtrack very much, especially “Cherry Bomb” :) Also I was astonished that Kirsten and Dakota sang several songs themselves!!! It’s so cool! I wish I could sing!!! And it was great to watch Kirsten play new role. Because she was quite the same in other movies that I saw.

Funny thing about music is it’s usually connected with drugs. I even began to wonder if there were no drugs in the world, how many great songs hadn’t been written.

Also recently I’ve watched TV-program “Behind the music” about “Red Hot Chili Peppers”. There were drugs too. Even one of the members died because of it. And you know what? The guitarist that replaced dead one began to take drugs and almost died too. What a fool!!! He saw what could happen and still… it is spooky…

Well, let’s take care about our health and think about consequences of our actions.

Meanwhile, we’re going to travel :) We’re going to visit the thermal spring, that is located near our city. I’m gonna even take swimsuit, although I don’t know if I’m able to dive. The temperature of water is +17-+20. But the temperature of air is -10. I think I should summon up my courage and do it! Wish me luck!!! :)

Besides I’d like to congratulate all girls and women on the international women’s day :) Be beautiful, mysterious, kind and happy :)

Quantum Leap and Sliders

Do you remember it? Have you watched it?

Well, obviously, I did. I watched it when I was 14. I didn’t like it a lot. And I watched it only because it was in between my favorite series and because my grandmother liked it.

But now we’ve decided to watch it again. And it’s pretty cool. My favorite series is about rock’n’roll of course.

And I wonder why Scott Bacula (the main actor) didn’t become famous or invited to play someone else. He acts naturally. Maybe it’s because of his name – Bacula J Almost Dracula)))

Also we began to watch “Sliders”. It has the similar idea as “Quantum Leap” does. And it is old too. But it is interesting anyway J

So if you can’t find what to watch, please, enjoy old good series ;)

Friends

We’ve watched all “The Friends” recently. All 10 seasons. And all of them were fantastic. There were no feelings that authors lost good ideas and try to make money. No, all seasons are perfect.

I’ll never forget the end of last series. It was like saying good bye to my closest friends. I’ve never had such friends in my life. Have you?

Yahoo! We've bought tickets to Beijing yesterday :))

What is more, two of our friends've decided to go with us! This is really great news! Because when you travel to China, it is cheaper to book a room for 4 or more people.

I still can't believe that we're going :) I'm so excited!! I love travel by plane. Especially when they give meal to passengers :D It's a kind of some rite for me :)

But now I have to work harder to be able to go on vocation. So, Elena, turn on stereomood.com and start working now!!!!! :)))))))

Google Chrome

I've decided to download Google Chrome, because I wasn't satisfied with work of my favorite Opera. Google is really good as I see now. It's very convinient to work with English sites, because it's realy fast. I should try My space in it. It worked bad in Opera.

I'm really tired today. As John Lennon used to sing:

Recently I've heard about immigration n Australia. It's interested me so much! I've disappointed in my country this year. Medicine care is awful, there is no well-paid job for me, although I have three diplomas... But I'm scared, that there is no chance for me to approve my accountant qualification...
