Happy thanksgiving everyone!!!!!

Happy thanksgiving.

Ok, here are the things that I’m thankful for; First my family, whom I love so much, Because I have a home, a warm meal on my table every day, Because I’m loved by family and friends, For my job, because I can pay my bills and buy the things that I want but specially the things that I need. And there is more I’m thankful for but I’m tired and need to go to sleep.

Movie review; City of Ember

Movie review; City of Ember

I love watching movies, any types of movies of any language (as long as they have subtitles) so my first review is of a movie called City of Ember.

Basically the movie is about a city that was built underneath the earth to protect humans. The city is powered by a generator which is staring to fail, the lights could go off forever and it is up to two teenagers to find a way out of the city.

The movie is PG, which means it is a movie for the whole family, I loved the way it looked, and the city was gorgeous, different from anything I have seen so far. The two main characters, Lina Mayfleet (Saorise ronan) Doon Harrow ( Harry Treadway) did a pretty good job, they had chemistry and they acted well, I loved Tim robin in this movie.

I was not sure about watching this movie, but I’m glad I did, it is base on a book, I will be looking forward to reading this book since I was left wanting to know more about the City of Ember and its people.

Go watch it!!!!

Halloween

Halloween

Today is Halloween and I didn't wear a costume, basically because I’m not that type of person. I don't like wearing costumes; I think that's for little kids. So, mostly my day was just giving candy away to all of these little rascals which could be so annoying but so cute and sweet at the same time. I don't particularly hate Halloween but I’m not a big fan either. I must admit seeing my little niece dress as pirate brought tears to my eyes, she looked so cute, this is her first Halloween and she looked so excited, anyway Happy Halloween.

Basically, today was a dreadful day, I hated it everything about it, It was raining, humid, it was not even cold, and it felt like it was summer when it is suppose to be fall. I hate this weather.

Election time

Elections are just around the corner and I’m really excited to vote.

I can’t wait to vote, not only because this is a historic election in the

US, for the first time an African American is running for president, but

Also because I believe we need a change, we need a new vision. Out of the two candidates

Running for the presidency I prefer Obama, I don’t think McCain is all that bad, but his choice for vice president speaks volumes about his priorities. I also disagreed with his campaigns tactics I feel he is running a dirty campaign, accusing Obama of being a terrorist etc. I don’t think his strategies are working, especially with the crazy rally lady who accused Obama of being an Arab, what an ignorant woman. November 4 is Election, and I can’t wait to vote.
