I mean, I knew they happened, but never happened to me. But, I've changed my mind.&nbsp;</p> <p>I woke up today praying for a miracle to happen. And it seems Someone up above heard my prayers and decided to answer them. Finally, <strong>I got into college</strong>!</p> <p>I can't believe it! After two years of hard-working, classes, exercises, books, readings and, mainly, exams... I did it! I don't know how, but I did!&nbsp;</p> <p>I was so nervous and apprehensive 'cause I knew I haven't done well on my exams, especially on my "math-physics-chemistry" exam. I just hate these subjects and I have a hard time trying to learn them. But, it seems even these "obstacles"&nbsp;weren't enough to prevent my dream to come true. I must have passed by&nbsp;the skin of my teeth!&nbsp;</p> <p>Well, from now on I have other things to think about it. To start with: the college is far away from home. I'll only see my parents twice or three times a year. Besides, I have no friends there, so I'll have to start everything from scratch.&nbsp;</p> <p>Now I'm afraid and happy at the same time. Silly me, huh? Well, I'm sure this will be a huge experience and an opportunity to grow.</p> <p>So, basically, the message is: <strong>keep the faith! God</strong> moves in mysterious ways, so don't bother yourself racking your brain about a problem or something you want to get but, for some reason, you can't. You're time will come. Is it worth it?</h2><p>You know, I was always that type of person who makes resolutions in the last day of the year. I would include "start exercising", "go into college", "learn something new", "get fluent on English" on my list. Some people might also include "lose weight" or "win the lottery" on theirs. But, this year (I'd better say last year now) things turned out differently. I didn't make a list.</p> <p>Why not? Well, I'm starting to question if it's worth it. And if it works, of course.&nbsp;</p> <p>From all my last lists, I haven't accomplished anything of them. I continued to be the same&nbsp;<strong>couch potato</strong>, I didn't get into college (it wasn't for a lack of trying) and I'm not fluent on English yet. So, what's the point? Who's the one to blame? Were my goals too high so I couldn't reach?&nbsp;</p> <p>Actually, I'm not searching for answers. I've changed my tactics, I don't need to ask why or how. And, the funny thing is I'm cool with it somehow. Life won't always be the way I want it to, that's a lesson learned.&nbsp;</p> <p>So, instead of wasting time thinking of all the things I'd like to do, I guess I'll waste this time doing them. Maybe that was my mistake after all. But I don't care 'cause I'm still cool with it :)</p> <p><strong>Happy New Year, guys!
