To all the people who are learning this language... just a wind of hope.

Yesterday, one of my coworkers told me she wanted desperately to learn English. She asked me how. Obviously, I gave her the option of the same place where I studied.

She asked, "Is it good enough? Becuase in many of the places I've been through I feel I'm not learning and I drop out".

I was surprised by those words coming out of a teacher's mouth.

To her and to you... my friends... It is just a matter of attitude and believe that you can learn.

When you enter a classroom to learn, there is always someone who appears to know more than you. There is always a diffuculty to understand the teacher. But after some time you will notice you understand more, speak more, read more, write more and listen more.

I always encourage my students by telling them this story:

I learned English by the time I was 17 to 20. Before that, when I was 15,  I went to the United States and I was alone looking for something to eat in a shopping mall... and I didn't know what was "Tomato, lettuce, bread, meat, and cheese". not even asked for fries or large drinks. I ate that burger because the clerk asked me If I speak Spanish (my first language). Thank God she was clever, because I was having trouble remembering all the hand signs I was going to make for her to understand my questions about the food.

Now, If you have the opportunity to learn... do it! i didn't have the opportunity before and maybe I lost many and interesting experinces. It's just a matter of trying, attitude and convince yourself that you can do it!

Go get the journey... and learn this beautiful language.
