Japan

We have 4days off this weekend but... our plan has been cancelled because of the typhoon.Cry We were going to try sea cayak for the first time with our friends who're into sea cayaking.  Too bad!!!  I was so looking forward to eat fresh seafood near the beach too. I love seafood! Oh, well... another time.

So, I'm just chillin' at home, baking bread, changing wardrobe for fall season(it's finally getting cooler.), and tonight, my sister's family is coming to have dinner with us. I can't wait to see my little niece and nephewSmile They live in pretty far away from here so, we can't see them so often.

We are also going to celebrate our dad's 60th birthday tonight. In japan, 60th birthday is a big milestone in your life. We will celebrate his birthday with GYOZA which is also called pot sticker in English. That's his request.

I'll be busy with preparing for tonight's meal. Love cooking!

Very very sad thing happened. The Japanese journalist got shot by Myanmar soldier yesterday. There is even a footage how he got shot too.

Before I saw that footage, I thought he was  hit by a stray bullet while he was in the crowd of demonstration, but in that footage, you can clearly see this soldier shot him at point-blank range and nobody's around this journalist. I don't know why this soldier shot him. The soldier's gun was pointing at him.

Footage *click the orange button to watch the footage.

I almost cried wathing this news. He didn't have to die. The soldier didn't have to shoot him.

We went white water rafting last Sunday. We've been rafting two times in US, but it was our first time to try it in Japan.

I was so scared in my first time rafting but, this time I could really enjoy it.

I definitely want to go rafting again.
