In Iran the last wednsesday of the year we have a custom named "chahar shanbe soori",i'm too sad cause i didn't go anywhere tonight !

In this night we have different customs to do.for example we make a fire and jump over it.From the old Persian customs people believed that by this means we send all illnesses to fire and get the warmth and redness of fire.

some families get together and eat some nuts.

we listen to musics and dance and read our poem books like "hafez"  lyrics.

Tonight is a last wednesday's night of year "1386"  but i'm siting at my computer desk writing these lines :-)

 wow i found out that we have somthing rother similar in ukraine . we  call that ocassion 'ivana kupala' on that night all young people get together jump over the fire, sing a dance in a ring and ufter base at night in the river..that happens in summer and have really mysterious minning :)
