Mental Tempest

United States

May 20, 2010

What can I say?
Sometimes I follow the random thought
Even here, Even now
When it is easier to ignore
To accept follies and shortcomings
Step back ans watch events unfold
There are moments where it sounds tempting
But I know no one will notice but me
The rest will not see till later
long after the tears stop flowing
and dehydration starts to show
Yet still I manage to find a smile
a laugh, a cheer between the moments
Something that gives me hope
To keep this up just one more day
See about tomorrow when it comes
The dawn will arrive soon enough.

Lovely Fabian

Must be the Bavarian filling that set you to gloomy mode, or must be the aroma of the coffee that goes perfectly with the donut..

Donuts come in a variety of flavors.. If today the Bavarian made you gloomy, there is always that Butternut to look forward to for tomorrow..Laughing

There definitely were some sad notes in there CranBerry, although I would say less than in past writings.  I guess that is a good sign. :-)

Ice Cream sounds good, although I am picturing it with some soft cookies.  That would be a nice ice cream sandwich. :-)

A day begins with morning dew

Can we imagine a crying Moon?

Can't  we?

Then who's the cause of tears?

Maybe the Moon itself

who teases the Earth with an obscure image

and makes her cry with morning tears...

The only way is  waiting  for the Sun

who will dry all the dew up

send warmth and love

and make the planet smile.

"Dunkin Donuts" seem to have contained something causing sad feelings.

Try ice-cream,it usually works with me well in  cooling down. Smile
