It's been raining cats and dogs. It's rainy season here until November.
The Philippines has at least 21 typhoons a year. and, sometimes, 2 or 3 in a row a month. Several of the typhoons are like hurricane in strength. And, we call it here super typhoon.
There is no snow in my country. Only rains. Lots of rains. and, when it rains, it caused floods, flashflood, mudslide and landslide. This result are devastating to properties especially agriculture. It also result to damages to properties like houses, roads and other structures.
When the typhoon is strong, sometimes it is devastating to infrastructure like roads, bridges, and building.
The sea are rough. Yesterday, a cargo ship with passengers sunk south of the country, and 7 were reported dead, and more than 900 were rescued. Several were Korean passengers bound for Southern Philippines.
During typhoons, it is dangerous to go out to the sea because of big waves. Sometimes there is storm surge. when this happens, it is very very dangerous.
The typhoon "Labuyo" has just left and going towards Japan. But, its tail end is being intensified by the southwest monsoon. Southwest monsoon is normal during rainy season. So, even when there is no typhoon, southwest monsoon gives lots of rain.
And, you can see streets are muddy and slippery. Some are flooded, some are not.
When it rains, I bring umbrella to protect me from the rain. But, sometimes, umbrella is not enough for protection especially if there is a strong wind, or gusty wind. But, raincoat is not good when one will ride a passenger bus or jeep. He/She will wet the seatmate.
Rain is good and not good. It is good because farmers can plant their rice or corn. It is not good because it causes floods, and other calamities.
Does it rains in your country? Do you like rains? do you like to play in the rain? what do you do when it rains in your country?

I still receive spams in my ebox. And, I have no way of telling if the letter I received was a spam or not. I'm afraid it contains virus.
I open the letters that I received from my email box knowing it's from members-friends in ebaby. Yet, it's not.
The writer purportedly wants to befriend for lasting friendship or relationship. And, gave his/her personal email address. Why can't he write through the ebaby email address?
So, girls and boys, don't answer spams. Just report it's a spam and then delete.

I've resumed my tennis playing. It's an exciting fast game. I have lots of tennis players-friends from the youngest at 9 years old to 72 years old. Would you believe that - 72 and still playing tennis regularly.
Every morning at 5, I leave the house, and arrive at our Provincial Sports Complex at 5:15 a.m. I do my taichi breathing exercise as the sun is rising from the eastern side of the sports complex. I do my tai chi breathing exercises; followed by Yoga posture and balance, and then, alternately brisk walk and jog the Oval Field 3 times. Thereafter, I do the warm up exercises before playing tennis.
There are 4 lawn tennis courts. Three are used by the Tennis Club members, and one is used by non-members like me. There are many young people taking up tennis. There are two South Koreans taking the tennis lessons. I finished my tennis lesson last year. But, I stopped because I don't have my tennis racquet yet. Only last February when I got my tennis racquet, and thereafter, i resumed my playing, starting from practicing the lessons again with a trainer.
So far, I'm doing okay. And, I'm enjoying tremendously the sports. And, I played with the regular tennis club members too aside from the new students. And, most of the time, I play with college students.
Not many can believe I can still play tennis at 66. Would you believe that - I'm 66 and now playing tennis? My doctor advised me to play tennis as an exercise, and not to go pro.
Has any of you playing tennis, too? How do you like the sports? Who is your favorite tennis player?
