Yemen's smiling pleace

         Yemen is an Arabic country in Arabian Peninsula. There is in it  a charming city it called Aden.

          Aden constitutes a peninsula located in the southern coast of Arabia, which in turn is overlooking the Indian Ocean. Aden is in fact an area existed through some eruption of two separate volcanoes, the deposits of which ran along the edge of an arid able coastal strip, where by the highest peak of which is elevated 660 meters from the sea level. 

          Aden is know ; before a period of more than 300 years; as a location and city by the nations of ancient civilizations, such as the Greeks, Egyptian pharaohs and Romans, as it had been one of the connecting or transit ports within the famous commercial rout of the spices , incense and peculiar type of products during those ancient ages. 

         In 1844, Aden has had residential population of 6000 persons only. By the year 1881, they had reached the population figure of 34,860 people. By the end of twentieth century, they have become 7000,000 residents.

        However, during the sixties of last century (1950-1960)Aden had been known the second vital port in the world , and after London. Across it , 7000 ships used to pass annually. Nevertheless , since the independence in 1970 till the unity day may 22 , 1990, Aden experienced harmful political crisis, the last two of which occurred in 1986 and 1994.Since 1990,Aden became and still to remain Yemen's economic capital , while from the year 1995 it is considered the "winter-season" capital of the republic.

             In Aden like others cities in Yemen the people chewing qat . on the road you can see cars, busses and motorcycles run in a big numbers Aden becomes better more and more with days.
