Nowadays, in my country, one song is top of the music lists. Its words was been written Sezen AKSU that she known “little sparrow” in Turkey. At the words of that song she says “I know that sadness adds to worth to someone” This words make me think since I heard it. And it makes me remember another word: buket! This words origin is Russian. And it means that bunch of flowers. But what I would like to tell about isn’t that. All of us know that in 1917 a revolution had happened in Russia. After that occourance, some people had to leave their country. Then some of them came to İstanbul. But while they escape from their country they could not bring their goods. So to live in İstanbul, they had to work. Then some of them worked as a florist. After, that word, buket, came in Turkish. And we use it still commonly. When I thought the words of the song that written by Sezen AKSU and this occourance I think that events not only add bad experiences to people, but also it sometimes gives to nations opportunities to live with together and to understand each other…

That is why I see the word, buket, as a gift from Russian to us. And whenever I use this word, I remember them… And all people...
