I decided to start keeping a blog here. I have quite many blogs in various places, but never remember to write in them, so I thought that this place might be a site which I visit regurarly.

I really don't have a clue what to wrtie about. Usually I go on about my life, or post links to my fan fics, but somehow that feels a bit lame now...

Oh, well. I'll still do it. But I'll begin with telling a little bit about myself.

A move arount the internet mostly under the name Zohra. It comes from a fantasy book written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. I really love books and reading! I prefer fantasy books, good old classics and occultism related book. Some of my favorite authors are J.R.R Tolkien, Umberto Eco, Colleen McCollough and the already mentioned Weis & Hickman.

I also read a lot of Harry Potter fan fiction, mostly Harry/Draco, Harry/Severus and Remus/Sirius, but almost any well written slash-ship will do.  I write quite a bit of fan fiction too, but I've only posted a few stories on the net.

On top of that, I read lots of comics, e.g. Neil Gaiman's Sandman and lots of yaoi manga!

My other hobbies include:

Anime. I watch a lot of yaoi and yuri, and some horror and supernatural anime.

Nature. I love roaming the woods. I'm very lucky to live in Finland, were there are plenty of them!

Art. I draw and paint a lot. Though drawing with charcoal is my speciality.

Music. I play the piano and sing in a choir. I also listen to lots of music; I especially love Irish and Celtic music!

I speak five different languages. Firstly, of course, my native language Finnish. I've spoken English since I was five due to the fact that we lived abroad - Germany, Swedish and French I've learned at school. My French isn't very good though, since I've studied it less than two years. I've also tried self-teaching myself Spanish, but it didn't really work so that doesn't count.

I'm currently in lower secondary school or whatever, and will move on to upper secondary school next year. I hope I'll get to study in Great Britain someday!

And something about my future plans: I've dreamt long of moving to Scotland or Ireland at some point of life. I hope that will be possible some day!
