Today is Dragon Boat Festival. It also called Duanwu Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. And it commemorates the death of Qu Yuan.
There are two special things for today, one is zongzi, another is dragon boat.
Zongzi is one kind of traditional Chinese food, people will eat it during the festival. But just don’t eat too much, it’s made of glutinous rice,peanuts, beans, pork fat, salted duck egg and so on.
Then people will go to the river to see the Dragon Boat Race.
But unfortunately, I have to go to work today. What a pity!
