Hi fellows!

My name is Mirika and I run a small English school in Fukui, Japan.  The name of the school is English Avenue, and it's really small since I use one of the rooms in my house as a classroom.

This way, however, I don't have to pay a rent for my school, so that my students don't have to pay a lot for me.  English Avenue is the cheapest English school in Fukui now, and most of my students are young.  If you have lived in Japan, I think you can imagine, but some young people have to give up their dreams to be speaking English fluently because they can't afford to go to an English school (English schools in Japan are sooooooooooo expensive!).  But my school, English Avenue, is very cheap, so that they don't have to give up their dreams.

I do my business this way because I was the one who couldn't go to an English school.

I have a great assistant, he's from the States and he helps me me a lot.  We help each other and teach our students.

I really love my job.

Some day I hope to start an online Japanese school for people in other countries :)
