The most difficult journey is the journey inside us; the journey in finding who we are, what we want and how to get it…It’s a battle no amount of planning and readiness can totally prepare us from the outcomes and the entire process itself. It’s a battle of chances; of unending challenges, and of surprises.  It’s a battle against the unknown.

At the beginning of the journey, we may be are accompanied by friends or family members or a sweetheart but as the trip goes deeper into the forest, we realize each of them are slowly travelling either faster or slower. Then comes more challenges…You suddenly find yourself at a crossroad and you are torn which way to turn. And then,  the adventure… You realize you took the wrong road and find yourself getting in an endless circle. And the excitement…as you go on with the journey you meet people from all walks of life. Then comes the terror…along the road are travelers who decided they can’t go on with the journey anymore. They squat and wait under the sky with its changing weather. They are monuments of lifeless failures. Some sneer at you; taunting you; telling you won’t see the end of the road anyway, so you better stop and be one of them. Then, the confusion…after all the miles you’ve covered, you stop and look back. You have come this far yet the road is still long and winding ahead. Then you question yourself how much far have you gone, is it worth it? Is it just what you are capable of? What could have happened if you took the other road? Are you sure this is the right way to your destination? Where are you going, anyway? Why are you going there? What is this entire journey all about?

And while standing at the middle of the road, you realize you are all alone. Gone are the people who were with you at the beginning of the journey. But the journey hasn’t come to its conclusion yet. Which leaves you with two options: continue the journey all by yourself or be one of those monuments of failures that line up the road.
