Sadly love is sometimes like this.  It is a a bit of a gamble, with the risk being every bit as great as the reward. There are few things that hurt like unreturned love.  To give of yourself until it hurts (and sometime beyond), and receiving nothing to help ease the pain.  To tell someone how much you care, only to have them react as if you asked them to if it was raining today.  To feel like a "Rest Stop" instead of the destination.  Men, women, young, old, I think we have all seen or experienced this at some point in our lives. Remember that you are a wonderful person, with much to offer the right person.  However that is the also the problem.  It is for the right person.  They may not appear when we want them to, or even in the form we hoped for.  Who knows?  You may have passed them several times today, but because the moment was not right you did not know they were there. :-)  However when you find them, your love will be returned in equal or greater measure.  That is when you will see not only why you had to wait, but what you were waiting for. :-)
