 The city has became a big building site with so many dust and builders from rural area. Chinese has a lot of defect in character. But I can guarantee we are the most patient nation in the world. So we endure to live in the big building site with our good wish for the Expo.

The slogan of Expo 2010 is Better City, Better Life. For a developing country, urbanization is important and attractive. Some city girls claime that they like the nature and prefer to live in countryside, while the  university graduate from rural area will try everything to survive in a city and apply for residence permit, if they are able to persist for 7 years, maybe the authority will change his registered permanent residence (we call it Hukou) from a village to a city. Thus his child can live proud as a citizen and his parents no longer need to pay extra tuition for his education.  This is the common course of the urbanization of a person or a family.

 Better City,better life. I think only those from the Chinese rural area can really understand this slogan. City means pension, means materity insurance, means access to better educational resources, means more possibility for personal development. Some of the peasantry can survive in city. Some of them have to go back to rural area, where the social insurance system doesn't cover. This is the dual socity of China.

I have a dream, that is one day, a peasantry can be satisfied with his identity from the bottom of his heart. I have a dream, that is one day, there is no registered permanent residence policy in China. I have a dream, that is one day, the boy of a peasantry can join hand with a city girl and sing in the same voice:

Better Society, Better Life!

And we have enough patience to wait for that day!
