‘Tagesschau’ says that in Mali a village belonging to an ethnic minority called ‘Dogon’ was attacked last night. No less than 100 people were killed, houses were set on fire – which presumable burned some people and animals alive and made some suffocate – and to destroy even the survivors even much of their livestock was killed. They presume that an ethnic group called ‘Fulba’ did this to them, because in this region conflicts between these two ethnic minorities are quite common.

According to the latest sample of the German magazine ‘bleib gesund’ about 50% of all cotton baby mattresses available in Germany are a potential danger to babies and infants. Some of these cotton-mattresses could even make the child suffocate.

Today in an Aldi-shop I read a sign that says you should neither buy nor eat the content of the ‘Ready Sushi Box Hana’ or the ‘Ready Sushi Box Kiku’ or the ‘Snacktime Sushi-Box Sunakku’ or the ‘Snacktime Sushi-Box Shokuji’ with the best before date of October 30th. They may contain sharp pieces of plastic. However not only Aldi, but also Penny sell these sushi-products. In addition to the fact that the rice these sushi-boxes contain probably was grown and harvested by children this may be another reason against sushi.

Last Saturday Ibrahim Boubacar Keita the new president of Mali promised that from that day on security would have top priority for Mali’s government.
This Tuesday however unknown people attacked not one, but two Tuareg-camps in the North-East, killing 17 inhabitants – among them many underage. None really knows why, but most people believe that either national socialism or Islamism was behind this crime.
