The German informative TV-show “Marktcheck” says that 3 out of 5 testings of allegedly wild salmon and gilt-head bream were negative. That means that these fish had been caught in the wild to be prepared for food was a lie. They were raised in aquacultures and fed with soy and other stuff.

>“Tierschutz Euskirchen” says that this week 35.000 individual fish belonging to a specimen of trout that was extinct in Germany for several decades now was released by environmentalists in a creek in Lower-Saxony. Their extinction was due to environmental pollution. Now however the water quality in Lower-Saxony has improved and the water should be clean enough now for these fish to survive in the long-run.
>It’s getting warm outside and many animals start to mate and have offspring in Germany and probably some other countries, too. At the same time many people now restart doing hobbies they usually don’t do during the cold months, like travelling or wading in creeks and swamps. Thus the Southern-German fishing-club “Fischereiverband Oberbayern” now warmed people to be more careful and quiet while doing their hobbies. Fish laying eggs can be just as disturbed as birds laying eggs or raising their chicks and their offspring and eggs both are more fragile anyway. Thus you should be very careful with the decision where to go next while being next to or even in a swamp, creek, river or lake now.

In Berlin heavy rain swamped waste from the streets into lakes and rivers there. In some areas said heavy rain even flooded the sewers and made the dirty sewage flood straight and uncleaned into rivers and lakes. As a result people now have a very smelly problem as many fish were killed in the process and are now lying on riverbeds or floating on the surface of a lake.
“Tierschutz Euskirchen” says this could have been avoided if less waste had been lying around on the streets. They should have simply thrown it into a bin where the rain couldn’t have dragged it into the rivers and the lakes. They already reported this about two weeks ago, but now wrote another article simply to state that the situation hasn’t changed yet.

The latest episode of “TopZehn” was about myths.
>Did you know that even though people say that fish – hence why I post this here – have a memory of only 5 seconds, studies prove they actually can remember things that happened 5 monts ago?
>While talking about the myth saying people only use 10% of their brain, the narrator said that using 10% of the human brain would mean being a bit dumber than a frog.
>To kill someone by throwing things from great heights onto him, said things would have to reach 1.000km/h. During an experiment they threw 1 cent from the Empire State Building and it only reached 80km/h. Thus the myth about the man who killed someone by accidentally dropping one cent from a skyscraper is proven wrong.
>The abbreviation KFC really means Kentucky-Fried Chicken and they do use real chicken. They just decided to abbreviate their name, because otherwise they would have to pay a licence fee to the US-member state of Kentucky. However the meat they use still is nothing but chicken.

Re-upload: As the name says these animals were discovered in the US – state Alabama. If you want to do something for this animal’s preservation, you should visit the website “http://www.fws.gov/international/DIC/species/rhino/relocation.html”.
However the most threatened specimen of fish is the Mekong giant catfish. (By the way you should search for a picture of this animal on google, because it looks beautiful.)
This time I can only advice you to visit the website “http://www.globalanimal.org/2010/07/28/proposed-dams-in-southeast-asia-would-endanger-giant-catfish/8907/” and the homepage of the very famous organisation WWF – “www.worldwildlife.org”.
