i have  proplem  when i write I confused about fill stop and comma

if i say

  1. I am happey   today  . I felt sad yesterday  .
  2. I am happey today , I felt sad yesterday.

which is wrong  ??  ( .  or , )  and why ??

i have  proplem  when i write I confused about fill stop and comma

if i say

  1. I am happey   today  . I felt sad yesterday  .
  2. I am happey today , I felt sad yesterday.

which is wrong  ??  ( .  or , )  and why ??

 

anothershadow was right—the first example is correct.

When you have two complete sentences, you can use a full stop (called a "period" in American English) or you can join them with a conjuction (such as "and", "but" or "or") and a comma, but not a comma alone. 

This is called a comma splice. You can also join two simple sentences with a semicolon ( ; ) if they are closely related.

Correct:

I am happy today. I felt sad yesterday.

I am happy today, but I felt sad yesterday.

I am happy today; I felt sad yesterday

hello  guys

they are right nono  the first it should be right

coz  we use comas in sentences  which are not connected  but here you talk about present  and moved to past  so the connection is so  small

i hope my point clear to u
