I believe knowing The History of English not as important as speaking it and realizing how to use it correctly…......unless you're into history …..... and I think ailyn was a pretty much helpful….............

If I learn a new language, usually I don't pay attention to what its history... the history of English (language)? I don't know! I just know I like this language..

well i'm also intrested to know why english languge is so popular. what cause it to be so.

i now that speaking is impartant of counnication but the reason wht i asked this question it because i have lessons of origine of language ( english )

As i know,English is a West Germanic language originated in England and it comes in the third place after Mandarin Chinese and Spanish and if we count non-native speakers,it will be in the second langauge after Chinese.
