I prefer AIM, but it seems like only people from the US have it.  So I use MSN to talk to people from other parts of the world.

Most people here use Yahoo Messenger. So, to keep in touch with friends of mine, i prefer YM

but sometimes i also use MSN for chatting with friends from other countries :)

I first used IRC and UNIX "talk". Then later ICQ. Along came MSN and Yahoo. Then also PalTalk. I remember using CUseeMe with my first webcam. AOL let AIM become free and I signed up for that. Then NetMeeting with the webcam, voice and the Whiteboard. Along came Skype. After visiting China, I got QQ. Today I mostly use MSN and Skype. I've tried OoVoo. Last week we tried BlogTalkRadio without great success. This weekend I'll try Tokbox:

Anybody knows anything new and good to replace Skypecasts, please let me know! I've got 12,000 people on my Skype list. I know a few thousand of those want to come back to the English Conversation Practice casts… wherever we show up.
