kristina, I'm interested in why you want to learn Arabic. It's also interesting that you took Arabic in school. Had you planned to move to Dubai? There is another thread here about why Arabs don't read and I think it is really cool that you want to learn the Arabic language. It is beautiful, for sure, and has some wonderful poetry originally written in it. Good for you! The thing I find interesting about Arabic is that even in written words someone can tell if a man or woman wrote it AND there is a peculiar UAE dialect that can be easily recognized. Fascinating!
