It is just a comment that comes after listening to someone else. It means that things can be hard to understand.

I agree with marylyndevlin, and here are some examples I found in CNN:

“Neither a five-year plan nor a software roadmap can anticipate the needs of very many of the people very much of the time. Go figure—people are unpredictable. “

“Gibson wins awards and gets treated like an artiste for “Braveheart,” then turns around and does something as overtly idiotic as ‘Lethal Weapon 4’. Go figure, but don’t forget to figure in his fat paycheck while you’re doing it.”

Thanks to marylyndevlin and luym, but what does the sentence ”...but don’t forget to figure in his fat paycheck while you’re doing it.” luym gave mean?

“figure in”?

Does it mean, if you don’t get why Gibson did ‘Lethal Weapon 4’, just to think of how much he got paid for doing it?
