Methodological background knowledge is a need…or a demand. That what I prech, even though,  you can be taught by a native speaker or a native speaker teacher..or a teacher whose L2 is English….....I do not intend to be restrictive and think that only teachers can teach you properly…but if I were a student I'd choose to have English lessons and after that I'd go abroad to pick some new knowledge..but of course I can't afford it.

Look at this sentence – He does this.  {Active Voice}

                                  This is done (by him) {passive voice}
 This is the second interpretation of this sentence which is also possible, first one suggested by our friend about "to be verb" is also correct.

i'am  a  chinese ,in  my  english  studying, my  mother tongue  influence  my  studying,sometimes  i  translate  some  sentences,  i  aways  want  to  translate  them  imitate  chinese!  so  what  can  i  mend  it?
