Why are you asked such a stupid question ? Of course taiwan is not a country , it's just a province of China , it's an unchangable fact . Although some betrayer want to divide taiwan from China , but Chinese people never let them do it  , there is  but only one China !!!!!

I can't image what's difficult for the topic.

There are lots of countries, they don't want us Taiwanese

to go there, so we Taiwanese always have take

lots of engergy to prepare lots of document

for applying their visa.

But Chinese, they are different, lots of

country does never ask any visa to them.

So Taiwan and China is absolutely different.

Not thing have to discuse it about.

Firstly,i don't think political issuses sould be talked about here.

Secondly,according to history,taiwan links with the mainland tightly.

Thirdly,lands are of vital importance to any countries on the earth.

Fourthly,the economy of Taiwan depends on the mainland a lot.

........so,in a word,it is a trend that Taiwan can't be a country.

Taiwan has people of Chinese descent that broke away and created their own country. There are mixed feelings about this. Taiwan is a prosperous area with huge international trade. Because of this, Beijing would like to re-integrate the country back into China. Taiwanese own many prosperous businesses in China and other places in Asia. This sort of income is so important to China.

It is Taiwan's decision or choice if they'd like to be one with China again. I'm sure Beijing knows the problems if China were to impose the same limiting authority on Taiwan. Productivity would diminish and business would flee Taiwan and probably not towards China.

If anyone thinks Taiwan and China are the same, they need to read this story from today's International Hearld Tribune. It tells about the monitoring and censorship of all text chats in China on Skype by Beijing where they employ over 30,000 censors to stop any information flow that displeases Beijing. So that is the big difference. China is a surveillance society. Peoples' every move will eventually be watched by the government. Taiwanese know freedom, Chinese can only dream about it:
