i think Giks the hard luck is a test from the god if we pass in it we will gain the god luck or we will gain what we need.

and we can pass in this test by the PATIENCE.

Do you think God also gives these tests to non-believers? 

For example, maybe the cyclone in Myanmar or the earthquake in China are some god testing those people. 

the god is our god whatever we believers or non-believers. so any one may take this test from our god. but can i ask you to tell me more about cyclone and earthquake.
