Is Communism a good thing or a bad thing?(In a economic way)

PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING

Until a few months back I had very bad views on communism. After seeing seeing the preset developments in the global economy I am having second thoughts now.

The reason for changing my minds were –

1) In the present global downturn, Indian banks and financial institutions have weathered the financial storm. This is thanks to the the govt controlled and regulated banking system in India. This has helped absorb the strains.

2) Tata-AIG is an Isurance agency , with AIG having23% stake. The Govt wanted to increase the FDI cap to 50%, the communists being part of the Govt, oppsed it and the "reform"did not happen. If the The reformed had gone on to see the light of day, TATA-AIG would have been in soup.

3) Devlopment in Kerala. Kerala a state in India, were the communists for the first time elected democratically in the world. The social development is really good, has 100% literacy, life expecteancy is 80+ years, has 1024:1000 women to man sex ratio.

4) China – Forget about tall rising buildings, China can show good figures in agricultural sector. many scientific methods have been implemented, and has better land to produce ratio than US.Living standerd of farmers is higher than compared to india.

5) they could bring about job security!!

on the flip side,

Communists are against religion, and can be very opperessive. In india they are natorious for thier "striks"(industrial lock downs). Party officials becomre richer and people in general poorer.

Now the question are communists  a necessary evil?

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND

This is not about one party repressive  "communist" style functioning that functioned in Russia.

Please Keep religion off this discussion

Disclaimer :  I am not a communist.

"Give mе any example of the capitalist country without any state economy control. "

Well, there are only examples of states that are the most open to international trade that come 'closer' to the Capitalist ideal. Those would be countries like the USA,Hong Kong, Singapore…

The USA, of course does intervene economically in several spheres as you said, making it less than perfectly open.

"Thus, what the difference who would be owner, the close circle of people or the state(all the people)?"

I see your point, but most companies aren't that large and don't hold THAT much economic power. The consequences of such may be big, but its still not the same as when a large country owns everything and then makes mistakes.

"Theoretically, the difference between communist and capitalist economy systems is an attitude towards the property on production means. And nothing more. The rest the same, goods – money – goods. "

The property of means of production make a the biggest difference.

If the state owns it and holds a complete monopoly on it, then it has little reasons to stay competitive and upgrade its equipment against non-existant competitors. This is another reason why technoligy in these countries was so backward. Ex: The Trabant cars in East Germany compared to Western automobiles.

Yes communism is good, and the best system we have. Capitalism can only provide luxury to only a minor group of peoples , to those whom we call  bourgeois  , the capitalists. the owner of all pvt. companies but not to the majorities  who are the working class. India is perfect example of bourgeois oppression . A huge majority is unemployed . The workers in the pvt companies treated like animals , does not matter you are working as a worker in steel factories or in any software company . Even though a software engineer gating huge payments but somebody should care about his daily life. He will go to office @9 am will return @11 pm, you call it scientific living ? In communism the gov will take care of all necessities  of it’s workers. The state will produce only as mush is necessary, to prevent wastage of resources. In communist world there will be no war, as there will be no country to fight for or fight against . The world will be more peaceful .
