There is something i really wanna know, and it is: When did socialism finished? what was the main reason of it?

I read in a Rius book, written in the 70's, about his journey in Russia and it sounded so good and he hoped it lasted other 60 years (so did I). Tv had culture programmes 24/7, kindergardens were for free, needed people (such as the ones with a broken leg or war's veterans) had a car, the best payed people was the one who was dedicated to arts (painters, musicians..). And so on. I know i am supposed to look up for it by myself, but it would be gorgeos to know the Why directly from the source.

P.S: If you are interested about discussing what's going on in the world… just spit it out!!! ;)
