   Azerbaijan people will never forget  the price of this victory.  More than 600 000 brave azerbaijan sons and daughters were fighting on the battle-front against  fascists(population of Azerbaijan at that time was 3 million ppl.) . About 1300 were honoured as Hero OF Soviet Union!!.   Besides over 75 % of the oil production  used by Soviet Army during 1941-1945 years   was provided by  Baku oil industry.

   May the memory of all those  who  took part in this war defending their motherland  live forever !!!

Salute to the Russians for V-E day.

And to their enormous sacrifice of 22 million brave souls in the struggle against the most viciously evil regimes in the history of the world.
