what is the main food in your country

what is the main food  and famous one
 in your country

I would like to know actually to improve my knowlege
about it and maybe if the recipe  is easy I will do it
in our country Saudia Kabssa is main meal , like this picture (wish you post pictrue)

it's rice and meat (Sheep or chicken)
also there is traditional food but it will take a page
to say it all

so hope every body share me what kind of food that
they have in his country

In China, that is the rice.

At the south of China,main food is rice food, and at the noth of China,the main food is the Wheaten food.

In Tunisia we have couscous.It's known in many countries even Europe.There is many ways to cook it:with fish,meat,or chicken.It can be also sweet by cooking it with honey and some definite fruits.The way of cooking depends on the region in Tunisia.

the most famous Iranian food is CHELO- KABAB … rice , meat and tomato! etc … good idea have to write more about it
