Friend

In my mother tongue the word “friend” sounds as “druh” or “tovarysh”. I wonder how to say “friend” in your language?!

In Urdu it's called as "Dost."

amica: female

a question for you terra incognita, your nick is in italian language…isn't it? why? 

In Turkish: arkadaş or dost. dost is more than friend actually best friend.

Friend in Portuguese is the same as in Spanish! Just like Julissita said: AMIGO (male) and AMIGA (female). The sound is the same.

Terra Incognita could also be in Portuguese =D 

You can say prieten or amic (excepting the suffixes for feminine or plural).

Terra incognita makes sense even in Romanian, but I thought it is in Latin.

en italian lenguage terra incognita means "unknown land"

Shouldn't it be "Tierra enconida "? 

My dear friends, i’ve picked up terra incognita from Latin, but of course it may be Spanish, Italian or Portuguese.
