John: Ya know, Halloween’s coming up, Derek. Gonna see any scary movies?
Derek: I might do that. Do you have any in mind that you might see?
John: Um, I’m not sure what’s new, but there are always the classics, like The Exorcist.
Derek: Yeah. There’s always that one. Or, uh, more recent is The Blair Witch Project.
John: Oh yeah. Ya know when I watched that, I didn’t know the truth behind the whole story, so I was really scared.
Derek: Yeah. Even though I went in with knowing a little bit about the background of it, still, when I got home it was kind of a delayed reaction. I got nervous when I went to sleep.
John: Yeah. It totally made me nervous, too. I didn’t, I didn’t wanna turn the lights out.
Derek: Yeah. I thought about, um, calling some friends up and just hanging out all night rather than go to sleep.
John: I had to leave the lights on. I don’t think I even slept at all.
Derek: Yeah. It’s one of those movies that you probably won’t see again.
John: Except for this Halloween, right?
Derek: This is true.

I don’t blame you for getting scared from that movie. I would have been nervous to go to bed at night, too. I don’t like watching horror movies at night anyway. I can never go to sleep and I just lie there in bed feeling nervous and scared that someone is just outside of my bedroom. Do you get scared from these kinds of movies too?
