Steph: So what do you know about I Heart Huckabees?
Derek: I know it’s got a really interesting title.
Steph: It does. Yeah. I mean, you’d think if you saw it that it was I Love Huckabees, but I Heart Huckabees is a pretty cool title.
Derek: Yeah, it is catchy and intriguing. Maybe makes you wanna see it.
Steph: Yeah. I actually saw it last week and it was pretty good.
Derek: It was pretty good. That’s good. It looked like it was kind of a funny movie maybe.
Steph: It was a little bit quirky. The guy, the main character, he ran into this other guy, like, three times, on accident. And he was looking for a deeper meaning in his meetings with him.
Derek: That’s sounds pretty cool.
Steph: Yeah. So he hired some existential investigators.
Derek: Existential investigators. That’s a nice title.
Steph: Yeah. I thought so, too. It was pretty interesting. So you should see it.
Derek: I might check it out.
Steph: Ok.

Discussion
To be honest, I didn’t know what this movie was about until I was in the middle of watching it. The cover didn’t give away the storyline.
The movie itself was both entertaining and educational. There was a pretty good plot and scenes where some really deep ideas about existential philosophy are explained.
Have you heard of this movie? Would you go see it?
