John: You know who really impresses me?
Migs: Uh, No.
John: Madonna.
Migs: Why?
John: Well look at her. She’s been producing music for how long now? Fifteen, twenty years?
Migs: Yeah.
John: And she continues to pump out hit after hit.
Migs: Yeah but, do you like all her music?
John: I don’t know. I mean, it kinda comes… goes in and out, you know. I like some of it, but still, you know, out of every CD that comes out there’s usually one or two songs that are, you know, ahead of the times.
Migs: So, did you buy her album? Her latest album?
John: No, but a friend of mine did, and I’ve been listening to it a lot. It’s pretty good. And actually, the other day when we were working at home I had it on.
Migs: Oh, that’s right. I guess I just… I’m always listening to MP3’s so I sorta thought that was a CD I made or something.
John: No, that was that, uh, CD of my friend’s. I saw you over there tapping your foot.
Migs: Um, I’m not saying I don’t like Madonna. I mean, I downloaded a whole bunch of her songs from that album.
John: What’s your favorite… what’s your favorite Madonna song?
Migs: My favorite Madonna song? Mmm… uh, Like a Prayer.

Madonna’s latest album is amazing. Even though she’s over 40 years old, her music still sounds fresh and new. It’s incredible that she’s able to make music that remains so popular with young people.
John and I both like her music, and we listen to it regularly.
